From time to time, Align Mpls needs you to contact officials or legislators to let them know your views about a particular housing issue. This is effective because all good representatives, whether at the city, county, or state level, pay attention to the needs and concerns of their constituents. Reaching out and engaging with our policy makers officials is critical to change the systems that cause housing injustice.

Align Mpls is committed to providing you with all that is necessary to reach out with bold confidence to elected officials on the local and state level.  When you become an Align Ally, you will receive an Action Alert in your inbox.  Alerts call for action – whether by mail, email, phone call, tweet, or post.  They are usually time sensitive.  Alerts are also educational opportunities as they provide supplemental information about the issue.
